Property dealer shot dead over parking dispute in Delhi’s Preet Vihar; accused on run
NEW DELHI: A 34-year-old property dealer was shot dead following a late-night parking dispute in east Delhi’s Preet Vihar, police said on Monday.According to police, two PCR calls were received around 2.22am and 2.26am reporting a quarrel and firing at a house in the area. The dispute allegedly broke out between Pankaj Nayyar and his brother Paras on one side, and a neighbour, Gaurav Sharma, on the other.During the altercation, Sharma allegedly opened fire, hitting Pankaj in the chest. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared brought dead. The accused and his associates fled the spot.An FIR has been registered at Preet Vihar police station under sections of the BNS and Arms Act, and efforts are underway to trace the accused.
